Hi everyone
So we’re onto week 3 of my weekly series Make Up Gallery Tuesdays. I literally cannot believe it has been a whole week since the last one!
I have definitely felt the changing of the seasons this past couple of weeks and have thus become obsessed with thoughts of Christmas. (Yes yes, it’s too early!)
My son is at that age now where he will well and truly get caught up in the magic of Christmas, and I’m so excited!
So it’s no surprise really that I ended up with a very festive looking mani for this weeks Make Up Gallery post.
I started out with 2 coats of Plum Temptation which is a stunning Cadbury purple with a flash of blue shimmer – so gorgeous! I used 2 coats and it was perfect – this polish has a such a buttery formula it’s so easy to apply.
So this is where I insert a swatch of Plum Temptation but I forgot to take photos before I moved onto the next step – sorry!
Once the base was more or less dry I used a make up sponge to dab on Silver Treasure to create a gradient effect.
Silver Treasure has a clear base filled with various sized silver holo glitter. So pretty!
I built up the glitter by adding more to the sponge and gently dabbing it on until I had the desired consistency. You could add slightly less for a more subtle look.
I really love how this mani turned out, I think it looks really luxurious and this type of look is perfect for the upcoming party season!
Once again I’ve been really impressed by these polishes by Make Up Gallery, they really are great quality for such a low price!
Make Up Gallery products can be purchased online here and in Poundland stores.
What do you think of this combo – would you buy these polishes as they are only £1 each?
