Hi everyone
Ahhh I’m finding it so hard to get blog posts up. It’s so frustrating, every week the days fly past and I still haven’t blogged!
So I’m sorry for my extended absence again!
The second prompt in the 26 Great Nail Art Ideas Challenge is Halloween with negative space.
I rarely do negative space manis so this gave me a good opportunity to use that technique.
I had some Halloween plates on order from Born Pretty Store but they didn’t arrive in time, so I had to improvise a bit with my existing stamping plates.
I knew there was a cute bat image on plate BPL-025 (from Born Pretty Store) so I decided to use that.
I attempted double stamping but as you can see, I messed up my pointer finger. I should have kept a neutral background for that nail too as the stamping doesn’t show up against the dark base.
I think these turned out ok. Shame about my pointer finger but I’m pleased with the rest.
Polishes used were:
Barry M – Navy
China Glaze – Fairy Dust
Born Pretty Store – Silver & Black stamping polishes
Thanks for stopping by!

I agree with you – getting the mani done – easy, but the blog part is sometimes a chore. 🙂 I see my nails! 🙂 I did the blood ones. I love your peek a boo bats. The double stamping makes them stand out nicely.
OMG! That design is so cool!
I’m right there with you. Painting is fun, even pictures aren’t bad. But sitting down to edit and type is no fun. I love your double stamp bats, so cool!
I am surprisingly drawn to the simplicity of the bare nail + double stamping.
I’ve been dealing with struggling getting blog posts up as well. Love the bats!
Such a cool idea for a negative space look!
I love it! I’ve yet to try double stamping. I need to though!
How brilliant to do a negative space accent! I love this mani.
Aw thanks so much!
Thanks! I really don’t do enough double stamping
Thankyou. And yes, It’s so hard fitting everything in isn’t it!
Aw thanks!
