Hi everyone
I have a really exciting post for you today!
Barry M turns 35 this year and to celebrate, they have released a special range of new products.
I have been a huge fan of Barry M for years. I remember being obsessed with their dazzle dusts as a teenager and I’ve always been wowed by their huge collection of nail polishes.
I was lucky enough to be sent the 6 new nail polish shades that are being added to the classic nail paints collection. They will join the existing shades Ballerina, Raspberry and Vintage Violet to make up a classy and delicate 9 piece range.
For my swatches I used 2 coats unless otherwise stated. Most of the polishes have a similar formula which is easy to work with and applies beautifully.
The only exception to this was Bubblegum which I found to be very thin and on the runny side and therefore I had to be extra careful when applying – but the end result was worth it!
So onto the swatches!
First up we have Cashmere. This beautiful barely there shell pink is stunning. It’s such a classic nude shade and will look good all year round.
Next up is Frost. This is my absolute favourite shade from the collection.
Frost has a sheer silvery-white base filled with beautiful silver and gold shimmers. So pretty! I used 3 coats for my swatch but you could also layer one coat over white which would look more opaque.
I love this polish it’s so nice to see something a bit different from a mainstream brand.
Frost is such an interesting polish and it’s pretty hard to photograph. I’ve included some shots in different lighting so you can see the different dimensions of this lovely shade.
Next I’m showing you Gold Coast which is a sheer peach base filled with delicate golden shimmer. This one will be perfect for your summer holiday!
Its important to note that Gold Coast is actually a dupe of Golden Sands which was a Boots limited edition last year.
The fourth polish I’m showing you is Bespoke.
This mauve toned nude is a truly classic shade and has a real vintage feel. It has great formula and I only used ONE coat for my swatch!
Next up is Bubblegum. This beautiful Barbie pink has a hint of delicate silver shimmer – so pretty I love it!
For some reason this shade reminds me of the garish pink polishes that were popular in the ’80s – so it’s the perfect addition to this birthday range!
I originally thought Bubblegum might be a dupe for Dragonfruit gelly but upon comparison I would say that Dragonfruit is slightly more blue-toned than Bubblegum.
Lastly I’m showing you the beautiful Siren which really is a truly classic polish shade. This dark red crelly is so shiny and eye-catching and will look good with any outfit. Everyone needs a true red in their polish stash!
I’m thrilled with this collection, there’s something for everyone here and the main standouts for me are Frost, Gold Coast and Siren.
Barry M are excelling themselves lately with every new polish they release! They are making great formulas along with such interesting colours and finishes. I’m so excited to see what else they will send our way this year.
You can purchase the classic nail paints range at Boots, Superdrug and on the Barry M website for just £2.99 each!
I hope you like my review, drop me a comment and let me know your experiences with Barry M products over the years.

These are lovely, but I’m drawn to Cashmere! It’s beautiful!
I have some Barry M in my untried. I should fix that.
Barry M isn’t easily available here, but these are not screaming buy me. Probably a good thing after how much I spent at Indie Expo lol
Siren has me speechless.
It’s so gorge isn’t it
Cashmere and Bubble Gum are so pretty!
Wow, can’t believe they’re 35!
Ooh so gorgeous, I love these classic shades and the fact the finishes are more than cremes is good too! Gorgeous swatches.
