Sorry for the long absence. I’ve really not been feeling well and I haven’t had the energy to write blog posts or do my nails. I just really hope I start to feel like my old self again once the baby comes.
A few weeks ago I gave in and purchased two of the Candyfornia collection by Glam Polish. If you haven’t seen this Katy Perry inspired collection you can check it out here.
UK ladies and gents can purchase Glam Polish through a special monthly group buy via this Facebook Group.
Me being a lover of blues I had to have the gorgeous Something in the water.
This sky blue jelly polish is filled with holo glitter and flakies – it’s gorgeous and I am glad to have it in my modest Glam collection.
I used 2 easy coats for my swatch. As with all Glams, the formula was thick but this didn’t heed application.
As the Candyfornia collection is, well, candy themed I decided to do some fun stamping over Something in the water.
I used plate BPL-023 from Born Pretty Store which is a sweet treats themed plate. I thought these candy canes and lollipops would be perfect given the theme of the Polish!
Once that was dry I finished up with a generous coat of HK Girl Glisten & Glow topcoat.
If you prefer a completely smooth finish I would recommend you use 2 coats of topcoat over this polish.
Thanks for sticking with me!
