I was surprised to see some new SS16 polishes from BarryM pop up on social media last week. I hadn’t heard anything about new products and so I was very intrigued.
The new releases included new Gellys and Daylight Curing polishes. There are also 4 new shades in the Speedy Quick Dry range and these are the only ones I’ve found in the shops so far.
I popped to Superdrug to have a nose at them, and the only one which jumped out at me was In a Flash.
This beautiful shell pink is the perfect springtime shade. It’s delicate and pretty without being overly ‘girly’. Which means it’s totally work appropriate!
I used 3 thin coats which dried fairly quickly with a lovely shine. I stamped over these after about 20 minutes and they didn’t smudge – I think that’s pretty good for 3 coats!
In a Flash came with the fabulous new flat brush which made application a dream – I only had to do a tiny bit of clean up.
Overall I’m thrilled with this one – it has incredible formula for such a light, pastel polish. I also think it’s quite flattering to my skin tone.
I’m looking forward to seeing the other new releases soon!
