essence electriiiiiic –  Swatch and Review

*I bought this*

Hi everyone

Well what a dreary bank holiday it has been so far! Hopefully it brightens up later.

I mentioned in my first post that I wanted there to be a focus on budget brands on this blog.

So today I have for you a polish that only cost me £1.60!

essence Cosmetics are a budget make up brand that I have only ever seen in Wilkinsons stores. I have quite a few of their polishes as I find them to be great quality at a cheap price.

The one that recently caught my eye was electriiiiiic which is a gorgeous royal blue shade.

I think it looks quite jelly-ish in appearance which is something I really like – I know it’s not a finish that everyone enjoys!

essence polishes have a wide, flat brush which makes application easy, with minimal clean up. The formula was nice and easy to work with.

Overall I love this polish, I think it’s famtastic quality for only £1.60! I love the rich jewel toned blue and it’s a perfect shade for transitioning into Autumn.

I also tried some nail art with this one using Barry M Matt white and Maybelline White Splatter.

I stamped using Born Pretty Store plate BP-L003.

What is your experience of using essence polishes? Do you think they are good quality or do you prefer more luxury brands?

essence products are stocked at Wilkinsons Stores or can be bought online here
