I just wanted to start this post by saying that my pics really don’t do this mani justice. I did this at night and took pics under my daylight bulb. I really wanted to get actual daylight pics but as I’m on my way to work as I write this, I won’t get chance to take any.
Also, due to the amount of glitter, clean up was a b*tch even though I used a peel off barrier. So the pics aren’t great…but I put so much time and effort into this mani that there is no way I wasn’t going to blog about it!
Anyway onto the nails…..
I started out with a coat of my NYC peel off base coat which I have had for ages and think it’s great.
Once this was dry, I applied a coat of Glam Polish Below Zero (hello holo glitter bomb!). I then used a sponge to create a gradient effect using Below Zero and Polar Lights – also by Glam Polish (hello green holo glitter bomb!). This looked amazing on its own – without topcoat. With topcoat it would have been stunning!
After waiting a while for the gradient to dry, I decided to stamp over it.
I used my trusty clear jelly stamper from Born Pretty along with their white stamping polish.
I used MoYou London stamping plate Bridal 06. This image is tiny and is only just big enough to cover my nail bed so I was quite lucky.
As you can see below, this is a lovely, intricate image and it has transferred well onto the nail.
I sealed everything in with Glisten & Glow HK Girl topcoat and I absolutely love them!
Here’s a nice blurry pic for you so you can see the holy holo!
Hope you like these and I wish you could see them in real life!
