Well hump day has been and gone and we are on the home straight to the weekend!
I feel like I haven’t done any nail art in ages so today’s post features a swatch and nail art.
I’ll start off by showing you this beautiful KIKO polish from my Vegas haul.
KIKO 502 is a vibrant blue toned, cerease pink polish with a beautiful blue shimmer running through it. Wow!
I’d say that this is a crelly ( gah, I hate that word) polish as it looks quite squishy. I used 2 coats, you can still see some nail line but I don’t mind that. 3 coats would get full opacity.
Formula-wise 502 is perfect. It applies easily and glides onto the nail like butter. My swatch shows it alone, no topcoat. It’s really glossy and fast drying.
This is a great quality polish. I got it in a ‘buy 3, get 3 free’ deal, meaning I paid next to nothing for it – so great value for money!
I thought that 502 would make a lovely base for stamping and came up with this lacy design:
I think this looks really pretty and I love how the gorgeous blue flash peeps through the stamping.
It was lovely doing some nail art after what seemed like a long time!
Let me know what you think!
