Hi everyone
I recently went on holiday to Spain with my husband and son. I was hoping to pick up a few new polishes and was excited to see what I could find out there.
It turned out to be a bit disappointing as there were no big retail outlets near where we were staying (no KIKO in sight – sob!).
But I did manage to find a few odd polishes for €1 each in some souvenir shops.
I have 2 of them to show you today. They are by a brand called Wynie and are numbered 807 (blue) and 213 (pink).
I thought these 2 polishes would work nicely in a gradient. I started off with the pink which turned out to be a jelly! I adore jelly polishes and I really want to make a jelly sandwich with it!
I used 2 coats. Application was easy, the polish is thick but it found it fine to work with. I still had visible nail line but it didn’t matter as I knew I would be sponging the blue on my nail tips.
I was really pleased with how well the colours worked together. I found the blue to be more of a crelly finish.
I decided to stamp over it using Barrym Coconut Gelly and finished off with HK Girl Glisten & Glow topcoat.
I love how it turned out and I think it looks nice and squishy.
I love the way the colours are blended together to create a soft, feminine look.
What do you think of this look? Have you bought any obscure polishes while on holiday?
Looks great!
Thankyou x
