Hi everyone!
Happy Friday! Today’s post is a little different – but don’t worry I still have some nails to show you.
Last weekend I had the pleasure of meeting some other nail polish enthusiasts who I know through Instagram. (I have added links to their sites below, please check them out, they are so talented).
I have been chatting to some of the girls on social media for quite some time and really admire their nails and nail art. So I was really thrilled when I heard that a meet up had been arranged and that quite a few people seemed up for coming along.
After a few inevitable drop outs, it was agreed that 6 of us would meet at Zizzi Wigmore Street for some lunch and a good chat/getting to know session.
I would like to point out that the food at Zizzi was amazing! For the main I had an unusual dish called Spiedini Pescatore, which is a huge skewer hung with juicy prawns and chunks of salmon. Yum!
It was so much fun chatting to the girls and getting to know them all. The best part was just being able to chat about nail polish to people that actually understand my polish addiction. It was also fun to see everyone’s nails in the actual flesh and put faces to names (nails?!).
I came away feeling like I had met some really lovely and genuine ladies who I hope to see again soon!
For our nails, we decided on a Winter Wonderland theme – this unsurprisingly resulted in a LOT of snowflakes!

Bottom Center – Me then L-R @klenails, @leasnails, @elaine.nails, @mrscross.nailshop, @icicle_halo_
and here are our actual faces…..!

L-R Clockwise @klenails, @leasnails, @elaine.nails, @mrscross.nailshop, @icicle_halo_ and me!
Here are the nails I wore for the day! It was impossible to get a decent picture of these but there is a gradient, stamping and holo glitter going on.
I really liked this mani – shame I couldn’t get a decent picture – it looked so much prettier in real life.
I know this post was a little different to normal – I hope you enjoyed it. I wanted to share the meet up with you as its really important to note how wonderful the nail community is. It is non-judgmental, open and friendly and I am so glad to be a part of it.
I am sure most of you know them already but if not here are the links to the girls from the meet up:
Have you ever attended a meet up like this – I would love to hear about it if so?!
LLx
Thanks for a lovely time x
You should come along next time!xx
I’d definitely want to! 😛 x
