Hi everyone
Last November I met up with some other nail girls who I met through Instagram. You can read the post I wrote about the meet up here!
I’ve kept in touch with the girls through social media (of course) and hopefully we will all meet up again soon. But it’s difficult for everyone to get together as we all live quite far from each other.
So I was chuffed when Kat from KLE Nails contacted me and asked if I wanted to meet up again.
We arranged to meet in Southend on Sea and so decided to have a seaside theme for our nails. Great idea Kat!
I decided on a design that’s been recreated many times on social media. A beach/seashore scene with starfish. So not entirely original, but it’s something I’ve been wanting to try it for a while. I’ve no idea who first did this design – if you know please let me know!
I used lots of polishes for these nails – I can’t remember them all – but I do know I used Barry M Blue Moon for the base – I’d forgotten how lovely it is!
I used a sponge to create the sand and seafoam. For the teeny starfish, I created stamping decals using my Uberchic Beauty Mat and placed them on the nails, sealing with topcoat.
I hope you like these nails, I really enjoyed them.
