Hi everyone!
You will have noticed from my Social Media accounts that I recently celebrated my 30th birthday.
I had an absolute blast throughout May as I was completely spoilt by my husband, family and friends. It really became apparent to me who actually gives a sh*t and who doesn’t!
So to any of my real friends and family who might see this, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love, gifts and surprises. I really was so overwhelmed by everything. I am a lucky lady.
My husband never reads my blog, but I want to mention that he really did go all out and made so much effort. He can still make me feel like a princess after all these years.
Anyway, enough of all that! Onto the haul!
My birthday present to myself was 5 child-free days of utter luxury and indulgence in Las Vegas. Vegas means a lot to me for various reasons and I throughly enjoyed my third visit there.
Of course, I had to go polish shopping when I was there! Sadly I didn’t pick up any of the polishes that I actually wanted (Sephora own brand, the Khylie Jenner Sinful Colours range, Wet ‘n Wild etc etc). It seems Vegas is not the place to go for nail polish! Ha!
On my quest for polish perfection, I dragged my hubby round various branches of Walgreens, Sephora, CVS and Macy’s. It was delightful to see some really amazing cosmetic displays. If I was into make-up then I would have been in my absolute element.
I did find some Formula X and Christian Louboutin polish displays which were really exciting!
Sadly the Louboutins were completely out of my price range, but it was lovely to see them.
To be honest, I wasn’t that wowed by the selection of Formula X, yes there were lots of cremes, but it was their famous glitters I was after.
So I ended up with just one – Glitter Rocket. I’ll always treasure it!
Next up is a little haul from KIKO. They were doing an offer of buy 3, get 3 free! So obviously I was all over that! Ha!
I can pick up KIKO in the UK but the offer was too good to pass up!
Of course, I had to get some Sinful Colors! Unfortunately there wasn’t a lot to choose from but I managed to get a few!
I also purchased Sinful Colors Prosecco and you can read my review of that here.
The last polish I picked up in Vegas was China Glaze Glitter Me This. It’s such a pretty mix of gold and peach glitters – I couldn’t pass it up!
I was also lucky enough to receive some polish goodies as birthday presents:
So I have A LOT of polish to try, but I will be featuring it all on my blog so keep your eyes peeled.
If you made it this far – well done!
Thanks for reading!

Gorgeous haul & you both looked so happy in Vegas. I always love to go just before Christmas but didn’t actually pick up any polish up last year, although I did have a look at a lot.
I can’t wait to see your future posts featuring these gorgeous colours & a happy belated birthday.
