Now the madness of Christmas is over I am desperately trying to get back into a regular posting schedule but it isn’t going too well so far 🙈.
The current prompt in the 26 GNAI challenge is ‘New Year, New You’.
I decided to take a bit of a tongue in cheek approach with this one.
I’m sure we’re all sick of seeing those ‘new year, new me’type posts on Facebook referring to diets and new year resolutions etc.
I for one never make new year resolutions anymore, I never stick to them and feel they are pretty pointless.
So for my ‘new year, new you’ mani I decided to put some healthy food on my nails! I know I’ll have the best intentions of eating healthy in January, but it will all go out the window very quickly I’m sure!
Sorry about the weird quality of my pictures – for some reason my daylight bulb was making the base polish look the completely wrong blue, so I had to rely on the lighting in my utility room which isn’t great.
To create this look I used my old favourite Rimmel Bestival Blue. This gorgeous cornflower blue polish applies like a dream and looks so pretty.
For the stamping I used Born Pretty Store white stamping polish and MoYou London The Cookbook plate 12.
How cute are those little fish and sushi? Love!
I’m so pleased I’ve managed to keep up with this challenge so far and I’m looking forward to carrying on in 2017!
Thanks for stopping by.
