Barry M – Sainsbury’s exclusive Gelly nail paints

Hi everyone

Today I’m showing you a set of 6 new gelly nail paints from Barry M that are exclusive to selected Sainsbury’s stores.

This set compromises of 6 pretty summery pastel brights!

L-R Pistachio, Grape Soda, Sour Candy, Raspberry Ripple, Lemon Sorbet, Mandarin

These polishes have the fabulous Gelly formula that I have come to know and love – easy to apply and opaque in 1-2 coats.

Lemon Sorbet needed 3 coats, but yellows typically do need a few coats! Despite this, it’s formula was actually pretty good and wasn’t chalky in the slightest.

All swatches show 2 coats (with the exception of Lemon Sorbet) plus 1 coat of the Barry M Green Origin topcoat.

Grape Soda is a perfect pastel purple. It reminded me of Prickly Pear, but upon comparison, Grape Soda is lighter and more yellow toned.

Grape Soda

Next up is Sour Candy which is a delicious bright aqua blue. It does have an ever so slightly dusty tone to it and I love it! It totally reminds me of swimming pools.

Sour Candy

The third shade I’m showing you is Raspberry Ripple. It is a bright peachy pink which borders on neon and just screams summer!

Lemon Sorbet is a pastel yellow delight! It really does remind me of that lemon sorbet you can get at the seaside! I’ve been waiting ages for a yellow creme like this.

I thought it might be similar to Banana Split but no, that one is much darker.

Lemon Sorbet

Mandarin is my next swatch. This is a classic bright orange and looks to be a dupe for Desert Orange from the Barry M Wildlife Collection.

Last up is the stunning Pistachio. This gorgeous pastel green is so pretty and is going to be lovely in Spring. It looks so fresh and elegant.

Pistachio

I do love this collection it’s so pretty! It is similar to the recent Wildlife collection from Barry M. That said, I personally think the shades are different enough (with the exception of Mandarin/Desert Orange) to warrant me having both collections in my stash!

These 6 shades are currently available from selected Sainsbury’s stores.

Thanks for stopping by!
